Aloha! I am Mel from Hawaii, USA. I am a nurse, mom, wife, and someone who understands what it feels like to pour so much into work and family, while quietly wondering if life always has to feel this busy.
For a long time, my days felt very full in a very familiar way. I would wake up, get ready for work, care for patients, come home tired, take care of things at home, rest, and then do it all again the next day. I’m grateful for my nursing career, and I’m proud of the work I do, but I could also feel how much of me work has taking. There were moments with my family and kids that I missed, school events, special occasions I wish I had more of myself for, and so many days when I came home exhausted. And as a mom, one of the hardest parts was feeling like my kids were getting the leftover version of me instead of the best of me.
I did not want to keep telling myself that maybe one day, much later, things would feel lighter. I wanted to learn about something that could work around the life I already have, not something that would add even more stress or take me farther away from home. That is what led me to explore the online business space.
What I found was a way to start learning step by step, at my own pace, alongside my busy schedule. It gave me a new way to think about what might be possible for our family, while still being present for the life right in front of me.
Today, I share my story because this journey has already been making a difference for our family in simple but meaningful ways, and the feeling that maybe life does not always have to stay the same. And it does not stop there. I also want to be able to help other families who are looking for another option and a little more breathing room in life.
